Joe Rogan, the host of the highly famous podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience," said on Wednesday that he tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from a series of concerts in Florida, where the virus is prevalent. Rogan, who was admonished by federal authorities this spring for claiming on his podcast that young, healthy people do not need COVID vaccinations, said he fell unwell on Saturday night after returning from shows in Orlando, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale. He refused to say whether or not he had been immunised.

In an Instagram video, he stated that he had fevers, sweats, and was aware of what was going on throughout the night. He relocated to a separate section of his home, away from his family. He afterwards did a coronavirus test the next day, which came back positive, he claimed. Rogan stated in his video on Wednesday that he had been treated with a variety of medicines.

Monoclonal antibodies, which have been demonstrated to protect COVID patients at danger of getting seriously sick, were among the therapies he listed, as was prednisone, a steroid commonly acknowledged as a COVID therapy.

Rogan has been touring the country with his act "Joe Rogan: The Sacred Clown Tour." He was supposed to perform alongside comic Dave Chappelle in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, but Rogan said in a video on Wednesday that the event would be postponed until October.

His podcast is essentially a series of rambling discussions, typically over whiskey and cannabis, about themes such as comedy, cage fighting, psychedelics, quantum physics, and left-wing political excesses. Last year, Spotify licenced the programme for an estimated $100 million.

Rogan has offered refunds to fans who purchased tickets to a future concert at Madison Square Garden after New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio mandated that attendees at big events show evidence of immunisation.
Last week, Rogan claimed on his podcast that 13,000 tickets for the event had already been sold, but he would issue refunds because he opposed vaccination mandates.
