Guinness World Record revealed further details about the achievement in a comment to one of its postings, stating that Gregory spent nearly three days fastening the eggs to his hat. He set a world record with his balancing performance on the GWR Special Show for CCTV in China.

Gregory's balancing feat has got over 5.6 lakh views and 60 thousand likes on Instagram since it was uploaded online. Users described the deed as 'egg-cellent,' expressing their awe. Meanwhile, some were curious about how he pulled the hat off his head and how many eggs he broke while placing them on the hat.
Earlier this year, in May, a Londoner called Jack Harris set a world record by balancing 18 eggs on the back of his hand. While on an aircraft, Jack read about the previous history in the magazine Delayed Gratification and decided to give it a shot. His attempt to break the world record was aided by his 'egg coach' and buddy Joe, who encouraged him to balance three more eggs than the previous record holder.
