Scam in Garden City Bengaluru in the name of gardens

There is a scam brewing in Bengaluru in the name of developing parks in the Garden City. Asianet Newsable has learnt that a certain Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palika official has been accused of carrying out a loot on account of developing parks and gardens in Garden City.

It is alleged that the official raised bills and collected payments by impersonating as a contractor for garden and parks development in Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palika's East Zone. Sources said the official allegedly raised bills for works that have not taken place and impersonated himself as a contractor to swindle the amount from BBMP's account by circumventing concerned officials.

But now the technical vigilance cell under the Commissioner of the BBMP has prepared a report on the malpractice.
