Rajasthan farmer pours sack of locusts in front of Union minister, forces him to take action

Jodhpur: Locust invasion from across the border in western Rajasthan has given sleepless nights to farmers who have demanded government action to protect their crops. Jodhpur MP and Union jal shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat arrived in Nausar village to meet the villagers. However, to his shock, a fed-up farmer brought a sack of locusts and poured it in front of him demanding immediate help. A farmer named Sahiram Poonia poured out his heart and how he has lost all his crops to the locust swarm. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the minister reviewed the fields of those farmers who are locust affected. After this, concerned officers were instructed to help the farmers.
