Rameswaram: The 12-day long celebrations of Maha Shivratri festival commenced in Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram on February 16. The celebrations are taking place at Arulmigu Ramanatha Swami Temple of Rameswaram. The colourful procession of Lord Shiva and various other gods were taken out. Shivratri is one of the two major festivals celebrated in Arulmigu Ramanatha Swami Temple. Festival of Maha Shivratri will be celebrated on February 21 this year.
