Kerala gold smuggling case: Rs 45 lakh found in accused Swapna Suresh’s bank locker

Thiruvananthapuram: A cash of Rs 45 lakh has been found in Kerala gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh's bank locker.

The money was found in Thiruvananthapuram's State Bank of India. Days ago, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) recovered around Rs 1 crore in cash and 1kg of gold from lockers of Swapna.

Meanwhile, M Sivasankar, former principal secretary of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan arrived at the NIA office in Kochi on Monday morning (July 27) for further interrogation in the case.
