Covid medicine controversy: This Muslim BJP leader says pork can be consumed as medicine

The BJP Muslim leader has made a controversial remark over Covid medicine after some section in the society expressed apprehension over alleged pork content in it.

 

Karnataka Minority Commission Chairman Abdul Azeem said even if Covid medicine has some pork content, Musalmaan can consume it as there is no harm.

 

He said only a few ignorant members engage in controversial statements and said there is no confusion in vaccine and said even in Saudi Arabia, the King was the first one to receive the vaccine.
