Amulya Leona's house attacked for 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogan

Bengaluru: “Pakistan Zindabad,” comment made by 19-year-old Amulya Leona seems to have a cascading effect on her personal life. Following her statement, miscreants attacked her house at Koppa in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka.

Soon after the incident went viral on TV and social media, a group is said to have rushed to Amulya's house and pelted stones and damaged the flower pots near her residence.

Amulya's mother Vaji filed a complaint at Koppa police station following which the police arrived at the spot and are now guarding the house from possible attack.

A case under IPC sections 143, 144, 148, 447, 427, 504 and 506 has been registered and the matter is being investigated.

Earlier, few men from the right wing group reached and confronted Amulya's father and asked him to chant Bharath Mata Ki Jai and issued him a warning. Amulya’s father was asked what he would do if she came back from jail. To which, he said, "Let her be in jail.”

The issue now has become a national debate ever since the video went viral.

On Wednesday, Hindu Muslim Sikh Isai Federation held a massive gathering at Freedom Park and invited AIMIM leader Assadudin Owasi to gather momentum for their anti-CAA,NRC,NPR movement. However, with Amulya's “Pakistan Zindabad” slogan, the organisers and Owasi faced acute embarrassment.
