Lady cop suspended for beating up public, forcing petrol bunk to shut operations amid coronavirus lockdown

Yasmeen Taj, Nanjangud Police sub inspector in Karnataka, has courted a controversy by forcing a petrol bunk to shut operations. She is seen using expletives and beating up the public. She is now under suspension.

Known for creating controversies, police sub inspector Yasmeen Taj, attached to Mysuru district in Karnataka, has brought a black mark on the police department, which has been involved in doing a thankless job during coronavirus lockdown. 

 

The PSI reached a petrol bunk at Nanjungud, picked up a quarrel with the petrol bunk staff and the public. She was seen using expletives and beating up the public. A person recorded this and now the video is going viral. 

 

The woman cop was earlier involved in assaulting a sculptor and threatening him. She was also accused of blackmailing a TV journalist to convert and marry her. 

 

Following her action, SP Rishyanth has placed her on suspension.
