Writer KS Bhagwan attacked with ink by woman advocate in court for speaking against 'Hindu' deities

In a shocking incident, a woman advocate threw ink on Kannada writer KS Bhagwan for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments by attacking Hindu gods.

KS Bhagwan was here at City Civil Court to attend a hearing in one of the cases, while leaving the premises he was attacked by Meera Raghavendra, a woman advocate.

The woman advocate threw ink on his face and shouted at him for speaking bad about Hindu deities.

As per reports, Meera had already put out a message on social media claiming to punish him.

KS Bhagwan in the past, has made controversial comments against Hindu Gods and that attracted court cases.

Now, after the attack on court premises, Bhagwan approached Halasuru Gate Police Station and filed a complaint against the woman advocate.

As per his advocate Surya Mukundaraj, Bhagwan will also give a representation to the Bar Council and the Advocates’ Association to initiate action against the woman advocate.

Senior High Court advocate K Umesh said this is a condemnable act as this is the first time an advocate had attacked a person inside a court premises.

Meanwhile advocate Mukundaraj has demanded a thorough investigation as he feels there is a conspiracy against his client.
