The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education declared the HS or class 12 results today. The results were declared via a press conference at 3 pm. Students can check their results at the official websites- wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in.

The result can also be accessed via SMS. Students have to SMS WB12 registration number to 56070, 5676750 or 56263. The results are now available on websites, SMS, and apps after 4 pm.

The highest marks in four of the seven subjects a candidate secured in 2019 Madhyamik examination will be given weightage as well as his/her marks in class 11 annual test. With this weightage, the total marks secured by the candidate in class 12 project/practical will be added.

Candidates can follow the steps provided below to check and download the West Bengal Uchcha Madhyamik Results 2021:

·         Open the official website of the Council - wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in

·         Click on the WB 12th exam result notification available on the homepage of the website

·         It will redirect to the results page

·         Enter your roll number, date of birth and click on submit to view your result

·         Download and take a print out of your result for further reference

Private portals such as results.shiksha or westbengal.shiksha will also host the results.

As many as 9013 students secure above 90 per cent marks i.e O Grade this year in WBCHSE West Bengal HS 12th Result 2021. A total of 49,370 students have achieved A+ grade (80-89 marks), 95,758 students have got A grade (70-79 marks) and 1,65,186 students have got B+ grade (60-69 marks).

WBCHSE president announced that the top 10 spots have been clenched by 86 students this year. This year, commerce stream has secured the highest pass percentage. The overall pass percentage of commerce is 99.8% followed by Science and Arts with 99.28% and 97.39%, respectively.

If students are dissatisfied with marks awarded based on the evaluation criteria, they may take the exam whenever the government thinks fit to hold them. If they take the exam, marks obtained in it will be final.

West Bengal government had announced the cancellation of class 10 and 12 results due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the state. A special evaluation criterion was formed to calculate the class 12 results this year.
