Days after Opposition Congress demanded the registration of a rape case against Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, in a new twist to the ongoing probe, the woman linked to the alleged sex CD involving him released another video on Friday.

In the 29-second-long video, the third since she went missing, the woman said she would file a complaint against the former BJP minister who was forced to resign earlier this month.

The woman thanked the people, leaders of political parties and other organisations for supporting her.

"I have the blessing of the people of Karnataka, leaders of political parties and organisations are supporting me. For the last 24 days I was living with the fear of threat to my life. Today I have got some kind of courage," the woman has said in her video statement.

She said, "with that courage and because of the support I have got, I'm today filing a complaint against Ramesh Jarkiholi through my lawyer Jagadish."

Meanwhile, the release of two more videos on consecutive days has added to the pressure on the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is yet to track down the woman. They suspect her to be a part of a honey trap gang which captured alleged intimate moments with the former minister to defame him.

The woman's lawyer is expected to meet SIT officials and city police commissioner Kamal Pant at his office later in the day, sources said.

Interestingly the fresh video from the woman comes a day after she had released her second video in which she had raised doubts over the credibility of the investigating agency (SIT) and sought protection for her family.

She had also requested Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah, state Congress President DK Shivakumar, senior Congress MLA and former Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar, and women's organisations to provide security to her parents.

In the second video received by the media on Thursday, the woman claimed that a police complaint of her “abduction” was filed by her parents against their will. “…when I know my parents are safe, only then will I appear before the SIT to give my statement and follow procedure”, she said in the second video shared since she went missing on March 2.
