JDS MLA who alleged that IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri targeted him by allegedly listing his SaRa Convention Hall as an encroachment on a stormwater drain, gets a clean chit in land encroachment case.

The survey was taken up following DC's allegation and urged the Mysuru Regional Commissioner GC Prakash for the same.

The DC set up a commission and Additional Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Swamy was deployed to file a report after a survey.

After three days of survey, Manjunath Swamy reportedly gave a report in favor of Sa Ra Mahesh. Following the report coming in his favor, the MLA held a presser as he came out clean and stressed that the DC targeted him due to vengeance.

The officer had contended that the convention hall was built with a severe violation on Survey Number 123 which is a grazing land as notified by the government of India and had demanded a comprehensive probe into the entire deal of how the government land was transferred into private land.

A few days back MLA staged a dharna in front of the Regional Commissioner's office and challenged to prove her allegation. Mahesh threw a challenge following the viral audio between previous DC Rohini Sindhuri and a journalist in which the officer allegedly blamed her transfer was due to MLA Sa Ra Mahesh and Mysuru Urban Development Authority and reportedly told that MLA's convention hallwas built on the stormwater drain.
