Bengaluru: The NDPS Court on Friday granted bail to Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi's brother-in-law Adithya Alva who was arrested after a four months chase.

Along with Alva, other accused persons, Viren Khanna, Rahul Tonse, Adithya Agarwal and Ravi Shankar were also granted bail.

The CCB officials tried hard to ensure the accused remain in jail as they fear they may either abscond or may influence the probe if out on bail.

Alva managed to give a slip every time the CCB attempted to arrest him after his name cropped up during the initial probe.

However, on January 13, he was arrested from a flat in Chennai and brought to Bengaluru.

In September last year, CCB busted a huge drug racket involving high profile people including actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani. About 10 people were arrested one after the other. Now, almost all have been granted bail.
