In his latest attack at the Centre, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait leading the ongoing agitation against the three farm laws, on Monday issued an ultimatum to the Union government saying that the protest will be heightened if the Centre doesn't scrap the three farm laws till November 26, 2021.

Tikait in a tweet claimed that November 27 onwards farmers will march towards Delhi's border via tractors and strengthen the tents that had been removed by the Delhi Police.

The BKU leader said, "The Central government has time till November 26, after that from November 27, farmers will drive their tractors from villages to protest sites surrounding Delhi and strengthen the tents at the movement and movement site with solid fortifications,” a rough translation of Tikait's tweet, which was made in Hindi, read.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, he warned the Centre attempting to forcibly remove the protesting farmers from the borders and said they will then turn all government offices across the country into 'galla mandis' (anaj mandis).

"If there is an attempt to forcibly remove the farmers from the borders, then they will turn government offices across the country into Galla Mandi," he tweeted.

We have come to know that the administration is trying to pull down the tents here. If they do that, the farmers will set up their tents at Police stations, DM offices, Rakesh Tikait had told ANI.

November 26 will mark one year since protests against the laws began on the borders of the national capital, however, Takait did not mention in his tweet whether this day is the deadline for the Centre to revoke the farm laws, or to invite farmers for the next round of talks.
