PM Modi wishes Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh on their formation day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the people of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and Haryana a happy state formation day on Monday. On Twitter, he expressed his best wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh and wrote: "On the occasion of the state's formation day, I extend my greetings to my Andhra Pradesh sisters and brothers. AP residents are noted for their abilities, dedication, and persistence. That is why they have achieved success in a variety of professions. May AP's people always be happy, healthy, and prosperous."

The prime minister wished Madhya Pradesh ongoing prosperity on its foundation day, noting that it is rich in natural resources and culture. On Chhattisgarh's foundation day, he stated the state is recognised for its folk music, dancing, culture, and history, and he hoped it would set new standards of achievement. In his greeting to the people of Haryana, Modi stated that the state has kept its traditions and culture and desired that it continues to set new milestones for achievement.

 

Kerala, which commemorates its founding day as 'Kerala Piravi Day,' is well-loved for its scenic surroundings and the hardworking spirit of its people, Modi added, wishing them luck in their endeavours.

On the occasion of 'Karnataka Rajyotsava,' the state's foundation day, Modi said Karnataka had established a distinctive mark thanks to its people's inventive energy.
"The state is at the forefront of innovative research and business. May Karnataka have even greater success in the future," he continued.

Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala were formed in 1956 as new states based on linguistic grounds. Haryana was founded in 1966, whereas Chhattisgarh was formed in 2000 from Madhya Pradesh.
