In Jammu and Kashmir, three militants were eliminated by security forces in two separate encounters in Rajouri and Budgam districts.

An unidentified terrorist was neutralised after an encounter broke out in Mochuwa area of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, said the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday morning.

Following inputs about the presence of militants there, security forces launched a search operation in Mochuwa area of Budgam district, a police official said.

The security forces recovered one AK 47 rifle and one pistol from the spot. The security forces present on the spot are conducting further operations.

Meanwhile, in another encounter Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in a gun battle with security forces in Kashmir's Rajouri district on Friday, officials said.

The police and the Army jointly launched a search in the forest belts of Thanamandi in Rajouri following inputs regarding the presence of terrorists in the area, a police spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that two AK-47 rifles with 7 magazines, 4 grenades, some pouches and packets of medicine were seized from the possession of the slain terrorists.
