A shameful incident in which a Muslim man from North Karnataka's Jamakhadi Taluk supporting Taliban has surfaced.

The accused person who was arrested yesterday is identified as Asif Galgali.

Taking objection to Asif's post, another Muslim man Mohammed Yakub Nadaf made a video urging the local police to arrest and jail Asif.

Nadaf, whose video is going viral now, pointed out that he received this controversial post on Thursday and immediately made a video and shared it on Facebook.

The man also said that because of Asif's action, the entire community gets generalised as supporters of extremists.

He even demanded the Superintendent to take note of the incident and arrest Asif under the relevant sections of IPC .

"What is the connection for us with the Taliban and Afghanistan, we are living in India. People like Asif are a bane to the community who bring only bad name to society. Hence, I appeal to the police to arrest him," Nadaf said in a video.

The man also said that he will also make efforts to find Asif and in case comes across he will beat him up and then hand over to the police.

As this matter is going viral, anticipating a law and order situation, the police arrested Asif yesterday evening, and sections 295 (a) and 505 (2) have been pressed against him.

Meanwhile, Nadaf is receiving appreciation from all sections for not just going against his own community member by bringing such issues to public notice, but also urging cops to take action.
