Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET Result 2021 and 2nd Pre-University Course (PUC) exam results will be announced on Monday (September 20) at 10.30 am, Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh has said.

According to a statement from the Minister’s office, the results will be available on the official portal www.karresults.nic.in from 10.30 am.

The 2nd PUC Class 12 exam was conducted from August 19 to September 3 for the students who were not satisfied with their scores derived through the alternative assessment criteria.

According to data shared by the Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE), a majority of those who appeared for the exams (17,470) are private candidates. Of the remaining 943 candidates, 592 are freshers and 351 are repeaters who chose to reject the scores allocated by the department. Officials had clarified that the results of this exam would be final and repeaters would not get a chance to revert to their previous marks.

Higher Education Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan announced on Sunday that the CET results for the tests conducted on August 28, 29 and 30, 2021 will be announced on Monday.

"This is the shortest possible time in which we have been able announce the results after conducting the tests. I compliment the State Examination Authority officials for their diligent and hard work for making this possible within such a short time," the Minister said in a statement to the media issued on Sunday.

Ashwath Narayan said the results of CET will be available after 4 pm on Monday on the following links -- https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ and www.karresults.nic.in.
