Jammu-Kashmir: Two terrorists eliminated by security forces in Rajouri encounter
Based on an accurate intelligence tip off from Jammu and Kashmir Police, a joint operation was launched on Thursday night in the forest area of Thanamandi.

Rajouri: Two terrorists were killed in an encounter, a joint operation by security forces and police in Thanamandi forest area in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Terrorists Neutralised Based on accurate Intelligence from JK Police a joint operation was launched in the night of 05 Aug in the forested area of Thanamandi, Rajouri. In the firefight, two terrorists have been neutralised. Operations are in progress. @NorthernComd_IA @adgpi," tweeted White Knight Corps.
Based on an accurate intelligence tip off from Jammu and Kashmir Police, a joint operation was launched on Thursday night in the forest area of Thanamandi.
The Indian Army said the neutralising operations are in progress.
Earlier, J&K Police had said that the search party has established contact with the terrorists. "Contact with terrorists established at Thanamandi in Rajouri; Police and Army on the spot," J&K police had said.
The Jammu Police recovered 2 pistols, 5 magazines, 122 rds, and 1 silencer from the troops' operation at Sarthian village of Rajpura Police Station region in Samba.
