Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a discussion with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Thursday.

According to media reports, the meeting was called to review the security arrangements ahead of the farmers' call for a chakka jam on February 6.

Also part of the meeting were Intelligence Bureau Director Arvind Kumar, Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava and senior officials of the Home Ministry.

Bhartiya Kisan Morcha (Rajewal) president Balbir Singh Rajewal announced on Monday that the farmers would block both state highways and national highways for three hours from 12 noon to 3 pm on February 6.

The chakka jam is aimed at putting forth the farmers' demand for complete rollback of farm laws and against the repressive measures being adopted at the Delhi borders by authorities.

Amit Shah's meeting with Doval also came barely hours after the Delhi Police registered a case against unknown persons who were behind the drafting of the toolkit on social media aiming to spread 'disaffection against govt of India'.

Delhi Police special commissioner Praveer Ranjan said that the force has taken cognizance of the 'toolkit' and registered a case under unknown persons for trying to spread disaffection against the government of India and creating disharmony among different social, religious and cultural groups.
