In a significant development in Karnataka education department, the students studying SSLC and 2nd PUC will be made to write exams in May and June.

As per reports, the students in PUC 2 will have to take up exams from May second week and in case of SSLC students, they will write exams from June first week.

The time table of exams to both the sections is yet to be announced and reports say, by end of January that also will be made available.

"The Education department has identified portions for the exams and these will be delivered to all schools. The department will ensure that the minimum syllabus will be selected so that students won’t be overloaded” told S Suresh Kumar.

And in case of Class 1 to 9, there will not be any reduction in syllabus.

Now that the pandemic is looming large, it will be a challenge before the government to ensure the entire process remains safe.
