The Enforcement Directorate, which is conducting its own investigation into the Television Ratings Point manipulation case, grilled India Today Chief Financial Officer Dinesh Bhatia and Distribution Head KR Arora in the case on Monday.

According to sources, the two India Today officials were questioned for hours by ED officials.

The questioning comes even as Mumbai Police continues to dig for evidence in the TRP manipulation case. The police have been questioning former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta. Partho was shifted from Taloja Central Prison in Navi Mumbai to Mumbai's JJ Hospital after his blood sugar levels went up on Friday midnight.

The Enforcement Directorate, on the other hand, is carrying on with its probe based on the original FIR filed in the TRP case that allegedly named India Today and accused the channel of paying households to manipulate TRPs.

Since the Enforcement Directorate filed its ECIR in the case, it has been making swift progress and headway in the fake TRP manipulation case. Thus far, the ED has also questioned members of the BARC management which has been under its lens in the context of TRP manipulation.
