DK Shivakumar reacts to 'collection agent' remarks, says it's their personnel talk, not linked to me, party
Following the explosive conversation between KPCC media coordinator Salim and former MP VS Ugrappa calling him as a collection agent and discussing his alleged financial transaction, DK Shivakumar reacted saying, the conversation is personal and not official and said that there is no link between the party and him.

The KPCC president distanced himself from the comment saying it was their personal comments and discussions and there is no link between him and the party. He also stressed that he is not involved in any percentage scam.
He said that there are no allegations of the same from the media against him in this regard of percentage scam. In politics, he said that there are people who clap, while some throw stones, slippers and all these are part and parcel of politics.
As Ugrappa alleged a media twist to the embarrassment, the KPCC president said that whatever the media has shown is not wrong as it has shown what was actually said.
He also recalled that in the past the media had also shown Ananth Kumar and BS Yediyurappa, AH Vishwanath and Yatnal's conversation as well.
The leader said that it is left to the Home Minister to take Suo moto case on the issue. Shivakumar further added that he is not involved in any type of groupism and ruled out factionalism.
To a question on Ugrappa also commenting against him for ignoring the leaders who helped him, he said he cannot satisfy everyone and said serious and merciless action against those people who have caused embarrassment to the party.
On Tuesday, KPCC media coordinator Salim and Ugrappa at  a press conference caused a major embarrassment after Salim accused DK Shivakumar in a percentage scam and called him a collection agent.

Salim who made careless talks and caused embarrassment to the party has been suspended for six years from Congress. The leader can be heard whispering DK Shivakumar as a collection agent.
