India will resume flights to the United Kingdom from January 6.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has announced that initially, only 30 flights per week will operate between India and the UK.

Before the new strain of Coronavirus swept through the UK, forcing India to ground flight operations to the country on December 23, over 60 flights operated every week.

The civil aviation minister further said that Indian and UK carriers will each be operating 15 flights per week to and from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad only.
