The men who planted an Improvised Explosive Device near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi's APJ Abdul Kalam Road on January 12 have been captured on CCTV.

Closed-circuit television footage from January 29, accessed by The Probe, shows the men leaving the blast spot shortly before the 'sophisticated' IED went off near the Israeli embassy.

The Probe quoted National Investigation Agency sources as saying that the men spotted on the CCTV footage took an auto-rickshaw from Jamia Nagar and reached Abdul Kalam Road, planted the device and walked away. One of the men also seemed to be limping.

The low-intensity IED blast damaged a few vehicles parked nearby.

Israel had termed the blast as an act of terrorism. The investigation into the case was initially conducted by the Delhi Police Special Branch. The case was handed over to the NIA on February 2.

NIA sources also told The Probe that the men spotted on the CCTV footage tried their best to cover their tracks.

The agency has announced a Rs 10 lakh reward for information on the men spotted in the CCTV footage.
