The foundation work for the vast Ram temple in the Uttar Pradesh city of Ayodhya is expected to be finished in November 2021, and worshippers will worship 'Ram Lala' in the new great temple dedicated to Lord Ram beginning in December 2023. Gopal, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader in charge of the Ram temple building in Ayodhya, is a confidante of Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

The VHP leader stated that using the temple marbles manufactured from granite shipped from Mirzapur and Bangalore will begin shortly after the temple's foundation construction is completed. He noted that the building work on the temple's foundation had been completed to a depth of 40 feet. This work will be completed in the following 15 days, bringing the temple's foundation construction to a close in November of this year.
