  • Telangana is all gearing up for the upcoming 2019 elections

  • But BJP seems to be way behind in this race for power
BJP lagging behind in Telangana while TRS and Congress are surging ahead

Telangana political scenario has become a kaleidoscope of shuffling after Revanth Reddy changed sides to Congress. Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Congress are busy gathering followers, inviting leaders and trying to strengthen their party and expand their dominion in the state.

But Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be lagging behind in the state though the National party is hell-bent on strengthening themselves in Telangana. Though BJP National President Amit Shah intends to strengthen the party using the strategy of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and other states, it doesn’t seem to work out here. Amit Shah wished to lure strong leaders with individual personality into BJP.

Congress has started to become a fierce opposition to TRS with the Reddy community finding more positive vibes in Congress for their future than BJP. Leaders who oppose TRS find it easy to join Congress than BJP.

All the strategies of National BJP seem to fail with the state BJP not acting according to its wishes. Consequently BJP failed to strengthen itself into a strong opposition in Telangana. Amit Shah plans to concentrate on the state politics after Gujarat elections.
