New competition to Xiaomi, Vivo and others: Chinese brand Comio enters India with 3 smartphones

The latest entrant in the fiercely competitive Indian smartphone market is Chinese vendor Topwise Communications with its all-new Comio phone brand. Competing with the likes of Xiaomi, Vivo and others, Comio has launched three new devices in the price ranging between Rs 5,999 and Rs 9,999.

The Comio C1, Comio S1 and Comio P1 are new options in the budget smartphone market. Let's take a look at them one by one.

At Rs 5999, the C1 is the cheapest of the trio. The device sports a 5-inch HD display and under the hood, you will get 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. On the camera front, you get an 8MP rear snapper and on the front a 5MP shooter.

The Comio S1, priced at Rs 8999, gets a slightly bigger 5.2-inch HD display and under the hood, it gets a quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The 32GB storage is expandable up to 128GB and it is equipped with a fingerprint scanner button. Finally, a 2700mAh battery completes the package.

The expensive one among the three is the Comio P1 priced at Rs 9999. It's a dual SIm device with a 5.2-inch display and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The specs sheet also includes 3GB RAM, quad-core processor, 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras, 32GB storage expandable up to 128GB, fingerprint scanner and a massive 5000mAh battery.

All three run Android 7.0 Nougat and come with 4G VoLTE support. The devices will be available in North India soon, followed by West India. However, there is no word of their entry into the South market.
