Tamil Nadu Assembly speaker Dhanapal is admitted in Apollo hospital due to sudden illness.
It was said that he was suffering from fever and stomach ache. Now he is undergoing treatment.
Sources say that Chief Minister E Palaniswami and his ministers have visited him at the hospital.
The debate on demands for grants is taking place in TN Assembly. Since the Speaker is ill it is expected that the Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman will lead the Assembly.
