Women gets husband killed 11 days after wedding as she couldn't forget ex-lover

FollowA crime, wherein a 27-year-old nurse killed her husband just 11 days after marriage as she was not able to forget her ex-lover, has left everyone in shock.
Ganeshkumar of Om Sakthi Nagar and Bhagyalakshmi of Samathuvapuram got married on June 11. Just after 11 days, on June 22, Ganeshkumar was brutally murdered and was found dead in Sakkarakottai.
A case has been filed and the police investigation found Bhagyalakshmi and her ex-lover Loganathan were behind the murder.
Loganathan confessed “Bhagyalakshmi is my uncle’s daughter and I was in love with her for a long time. She is 27 year old and I am 22. Our parents did not accept our love due to this reason. She was forced to marry Ganeshkumar and even after the wedding we were still in contact.”
He further said, “Whenever Ganeshkumar went to Madurai in search of a job, we planned to meet alone. On one such day, on June 22, we planned to kill him as he was the only intrusion in our relationship. That was when Ganeshkumar said that he wanted to repair his mobile. I decided to make use of this opportunity. I took him to Sakkarakottai where we both consumed alcohol. When he was high, I killed him by slitting his neck”
A further investigation is being carried out by the police officials.
