Director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s new film has been titled House Owner.

Earlier she had directed films like Aarohanam, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe and Ammani.
She said, “At first I thought of directing a movie on Chennai floods. As my daughter has got engaged, I decided to do the film after the wedding. Recently, while I was in Mumbai, I happened to watch a Hindi movie which impressed me a lot. I wanted to remake that film, but for some reason, it did not occur. With the inspiration I got from the movie, I wrote a new script. It is about the challenges faced by a couple when they try to buy their dream home. Their struggles will be shown comically. Aishwarya Rajesh and Ashok Selvan are starring in the lead roles. The shooting will soon begin.”
