Kaala shooting will commence in Chennai from July 10
- The shooting of Kaala was withheld because of heavy rains in Mumbai.

FollowDue to the rain in Mumbai, Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ shooting has been stopped for weeks. Hence Rajinikanth has made his way to US for a medical checkup. Rest of the team members have returned to Chennai.
Now, it is said that the shoot will resume from July 10 in Chennai. In EVB garden near Poonamallee, a set that resembles the Dharavi slum of Mumbai has been erected. The shooting will continue for many days in the set from July 10, whereas, Rajini will join the crew on July 12.
This movie is directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music. The star cast for the film includes Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Sukanya, Sampath Raj, Samuthirakani and so on. It is said that Samuthirakani has been given a considerable salary for acting.
