The Madras High Court has given Rajinikanth and the makers of Kaala a breather in the plagiarism case.
Kaala is an upcoming gangster film starring Rajinikanth and Pa.Ranjith is directing it.
Recently, K Rajasekaran, the owner of GSR Vinmeen Creations filed a petition stating that Kaala’s title and theme belong to him.
It was reported that he has already registered for the title in South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce. He has also requested the court to stop the film’s shooting.
Following this, the Judge demanded a reply from the director, producer and the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.
Today, July 12, 2017, it was requested that the team need one week’s time to file the reply as they are busy shooting for the film in Mumbai.
Having gone through the petition, the Judge accepted the plea. This is the second time that the High Court is accepting their request for postponing the reply.
