AIADMK symbol bribe case: Police to include TTV Dinakaran's name in chargesheet

Today,  July 14, 2017, a charge sheet was filed in the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi, against the middlemen Sukesh and hawala operator Chandrasekar, who were arrested for bribing the Election Commission for the AIADMK’s two leaves symbol.

However the charge sheet did not include TTV Dinkaran’s name.

The hearing was postponed to July 17, 2017. 

In the morning, reports from media stated that TTV Dinakaran was acquitted from this case. When asked about this to the Joint Police Commissioner Praveen Ranjan, he said, “The final charge sheet is yet to be filed. With the charge sheet submitted today, it should not be concluded that Dinkaran has no complaints against him. He is not released from this case.”
