The Proteas are one of the best sides in International cricket which has produced great players like Jonty Rhodes, Shaun Pollock and other legendary cricketers. But the only worry for the team is, failing to win at decider matches like semi-finals and finals.

The chokers as they are called in cricket circle is retained again by the South African team. But this time it was not men who contributed to this embarrassing title. It was women’s cricket team who lost their semi-final match against England in World Cup.
South Africa won their toss and chose to bat only to put up a low score of 218 runs. Despite Laura Wolvaardt and Mignon du Preez’s 77 runs partnership for the third wicket, English bowlers took everything under their control to make sure that they don’t chase a big target.
When England came to bat, South Africa did not gain any hope until they sent English captain Heather Knight to pavilion. The sudden downfall of batting side raised the bar of South Africa’s confidence.
But Jenny Gunn and Fran Wilson pulled it together to give a shock for South Africa. After their loss, South African captain, Dan van Niekerk almost imitated AB de Villiers’s posture who had lost to Kiwis in 2015 World Cup.
