It is no secret that cricket players in India are one of the most favoured lot when it comes to endorsements and more such privileges. Many of them have their own brand managers and companies to manage who they deal with where their name is being put and whom they are advertising for.

In the past two days there have been a flutter in the real estate field with Jaypee Infratech coming under the scanner. Now the process of corporate insolvency resolution under the insolvency and bankruptcy code is likely to be initiated against three Amrapali group companies -Noida's Silicon City and Greater Noida-based Ultra Home Construction and Amrapali Infrastructure -on the plea of Bank of Baroda.

The move will affect around 1,000 home buyers. A company source said Amrapali has prioritised delivery to Silicon City buyers.

So where the cricketing duo of Harbhajan Singh and Dhoni come in?

MS Dhoni was the former brand ambassador for Amrapali Group and Harbhajan Singh is the current. Twitter erupted in a war of words between angry customers and the cricketers who were blamed for having a part to play in it by endorsing the builders.

Harbhajan replied to some of the tweets which got him riled while on the other hand people have tagged Dhoni as fraud and cheater. Take a look at the tweets that showed the Amrapali builders ire was vented on these cricketers.
