The neighbouring countries’ star cricket players have showcased rivalry in all their encounters. But when it comes to off-field interaction, Kohli and Amir have mutual respect as sportsmen.

As an example to this, during the eve of the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup match that was held at Eden Gardens, Kohli even gifted Amir, a bat out of affection.
