Shocking: Kerala teacher brutally breaks pupil's hand

  • The boy alleged that the teacher twisted his hands when he had bent down to take his pen.

Shocking act of savagery Teacher in Kerala breaks pupil hand

In a shocking incident reported on Children's Day, a teacher was suspended from school when she allegedly broke the hand of a student. The incident happened at Government Higher Secondary School, Valathungal near Kollam on 10 November. 

 


The boy, a class V student, alleged that he had knelt down to take his pen when the teacher came and twisted his hand kept it on the bench and pressed her knee against the hand. When the child cried in pain, other students informed the principal who informed the child's parents.

 

The child was immediately taken to hospital, and the X-ray report confirmed that the boy's left hand was fractured. 

 


The child's parents have lodged a complaint with the education department following which the teacher was suspended from service. But the teacher said she had merely dragged the student by his hand as he was running around in the classroom.
