Karnataka: Woman warns man against sexual advances, gets brutally stabbed and killed in front of her husband

Jilted lover kills woman in front of husband in broad daylight during a temple visit in Bengaluru.

A 32-year-old woman was stabbed and killed in front of a temple in Bengaluru, as her husband watched the incident take place. The accused has been identified as 27-year-old Lakshman, an autorickshaw driver. Reports say that the accused was angry as the victim had warned Lakshman against his advances towards him. The incident occurred when the woman was visiting Mythili Theertha Temple near Malleshwaram in Bengaluru. Accused followed the victim without her knowledge and as the couple neared the temple, he came before her and stabbed her repeatedly, in front of her husband. Though her shocked husband and people tried to apprehend the accused, he fled the place. The incident occurred at Dabaspet in Rural Bengaluru. The police have now got a lead and are expected to arrest the accused soon.
