Kangana Ranaut is the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood known for calling a spade a spade and embracing who she is in an industry that is known for pretension and stroking each other’s ego for survival. She has not only survived this industry but has also thrived to prove that talent, perseverance and hard work are the keys to winning in life.

Soon, Kangana Ranaut will be appearing in the Koffee With Karan, the famous Bollywood talk show hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. This show has gained a cult following for having unconventional confessions, uncomfortable questions for the guests and some rapid fire fierce.

However, the recent promo of Kangana Ranaut’s appearance on the show seems to be making Karan Johar a tab bit uncomfortable and left the fellow guest Saif Ali Khan astound. She uses words like ‘flag bearer of nepotism’, ‘completely intolerant to outsiders’ and ‘movie mafia’ to describe Karan.

At multiple occasions, in many interviews, in many public appearances, Kangana has proven that she is not afraid to challenge the establish norms, questioned patriarchal establishment of Bollywood and accepted everything to become a role model for every young woman.

Kangana has not bowed down to her critics nor did she ever hesitate to stand for what she believes in. Apart from being a great actor, she has earned respect for being a woman of substance and beauty with her own beliefs.

She is a self-made woman who gladly accepted the fact that she is an outsider and that she must struggle harder. In an industry that is all about star kids, big camps, and Godfathers rather than trying to fit in she decided to stand out. She accepted her flaws and never let anything, or anyone put her down. Be it failed love affair or her struggle with language, she addressed them all in public and stood her ground all through.

These qualities make Kangana extraordinary even on the face of risk or danger. Indeed, she risked her career multiple times by deciding to stand up against some established names. Taking a risk and standing up for what one’s beliefs are what is needed to create a safe and inspiring society.
