Low temperature, fog and misty mornings in Bengaluru for the next three days
According to the Indian meteorological department, the city's minimum temperature would drop to 15 degrees
Bengaluru: Due to the dip in the city's temperature, Bengalureans will have to wake up to cold, misty mornings for the next three days.
According to the information from the Indian meteorological department (IMD), Bengaluru, the city's temperature is likely plunge below15 degree Celsius. On January 25, Bengaluru will also witness cloudy weather conditions.
The scientists from Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Center (KSNDMC) said that due to extreme cold condition in north India, the winds have pushed the chillness down south. Hence, Karnataka is witnessing this extreme cold weather. As far as Bengaluru is concerned, open places like Kempe Gowda International Airport (KIAL) and HAL airport will witness lower temperature.
"The closed places in the city are generally better as the heat gets trapped, but in open places, the wind movement is more and hence the temperature dips. KIAL surroundings reported 10.7 degree Celsius and HAL area witnessed 12.8 degree Celsius. Â This trend is likely to continue for the rest of the winter season," said an official from KSNDMC.
