Sabyasachi brutally trolled for launching a mangalsutra collection with bold photos

Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi is getting mercilessly trolled after launching his new mangalsutra collection. The ace designer recently launched The Royal Bengal Mangasutra collection and shared some bold pictures of the model sporting the mangalsutra. Sabyasachi took to his Instagram account and shared a few pictures of the models wearing a black bra, tiny bindi and sporting a mangalsutra and neckpiece from his jewellery collection while posing and leaning with a shirtless man.
The post was not well-received by the audience, and it created ripples on social media. Many thought that Sabyasachi had hurt Hindu sentiments by presenting the bold avatar of the models sporting a pious neckpieces like mangalsutra. The netizens did not have a problem with the collection but the way it was presented. One user wrote, "Lol, I thought this was intimate wear, and then I read your description intimate fine JEWELRY." Many users pointed out that the portrayal of the women model in the ad is very offensive and demeaning. Another user wrote, "Maybe there are trying to say that women strip only when their husband give them Sabysachi jewellery. Demeaning women?" another user wrote. The mangalsutra from The Royal Bengal Mangalstutra collection is made out of 18k gold and feature a black and golden beaded chain.
