Not only common people in Kerala, but the entire  Malayalam cinema industry itself is worried about the Nipah virus spread. People in Kozhikode and Malappuram are afraid to get out of their houses due to the spread of Nipah virus. In this situation, it has been decided to postpone the release of Malayalam movies. 

Mohanlal's film 'Neerali' and 'Tovino Thomas' film 'Theevandi' will release in July. Mammootty's film 'Abhrahaminde Sandathikal' is all set for a release but there are chances that this film also might release later. 'My Story' starring Prithviraj -Parvathi will also be released next month.

However, Rajinikanth's Kala will not be postponed and will be released on June 7, as decided earlier.
