We have 117 MLAs and legally we should be invited to form government: HD Kumaraswamy

The decisions taken after the legislative meeting if the Congress and BJP has been framed in a letter and submitted to the Governor, said JD(S) State President and Chief Minister candidate of the Congress-JD(S) alliance, HD Kumaraswamy. According to the pre-alliance with BSP and post-alliance with Congress, we have submitted the signature of 117 MLAs. He also spoke about single largest party ot getting a chance to form majority wherever there was a hung assembly , instead post-alliances with majority were given preference. He even quoted the Supreme Court verdict in regard to the same case in Goa, where coalition formed the government.
