Developing the Master Plan for the City is the job of Urban Developmemt Committee and not that of BDA said MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar, reported Kannada Prabha.

Rajeev Chandrashekhar has expressed his anxiety through twitter that builders may use the master plan revision as a means to divert attention of the public and get their ‘plans’ sanctioned. The master plan formulated by BDA will have several “plans” with the main intention of land grabbing during elections. 

If the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah attempts to modify the land utility rules with an intention of facilitating builders, through revision of master plan, the citizens of Bengaluru will not sit quietly, he cautioned.
