How about catching Mysuru Dasara from the skies

This Dasara treat yourself to the City of Palaces that is gearing up to celebrate the Nada Habba from the sky. The district administration has arranged the heli ride from the Lalitha Mahal helipad from where people can enjoy a ten-minute ride on a chopper over the heritage spots of the city and also spots like Kukkarahalli lake, Karanji Lake and so on.

The heli ride has already been inaugurated on September 16 and will be on till October 5 between 9 am and 5 pm, reports Star of Mysore. However, the ride comes at a cost of Rs 2,300 for each person and Rs 2,200 for children below 6 years and physically challenged.

Meanwhile, the district administration has launched gold passes that will enable the cardholder to have easy access to all the tourist destinations during the ten-day dasara. This year, the cards are priced at Rs 3,999.

Not just that on the grand jamboo savari day - September 30, cardholders will have vantage seats to catch the grand procession not just at the Amba Vilas Palace but also at Bannimantap where the torch light parade will conclude the celebrations.
