Ola cab driver among three arrested for bomb scare to Vidhana Soudha

Vidhana Soudha RMS Yard Police have arrested three persons including a Ola cab driver  for making hoax call to the Vidhana Soudha Police Station and threatening to blast the building by September 25.

The arrested have been identified as Suresh, Nagaraju and Shridhar. The police is interrogating the arrested.

At around 12.30 PM on Monday, a telephone call to Vidhana Soudha Police Station in Bengaluru with a threat to blow Vidhan Soudha in flames. Immediately two teams bomb disposal squad along with dog squad visited Vidhana Soudha and have completed inspecting the administrative building. They have declared it as a hoax call.

A telephone call to Vidhana Soudha Police Station got the entire administrative building in the heart of the city tensed. The man who made the bomb scare call identified himself as Nagaraju.

Nagaraju had threatened that bomb would be planted in Vidhana Soudha within September 25. "I will blast Vidhana Soudha by September 25," said the caller, reported Suvarna News.  Currently, two teams of 25 members and eight members tried to find out if there is any bomb planted inside.

Hi-alert has been declared in and around the Vidhana Soudha.
