The tragic event, which took place under the Whitefield police station limits, has left the Immadihalli area in shock. The incident occurred in Immadihalli, near Whitefield. The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Suvarna and her 14-year-old daughter, Karunya. According to preliminary reports, Suvarna allegedly strangled her daughter before hanging herself from a ceiling fan in the same room.
Neighbours Raise Alarm After No Response
The incident came to light after neighbours and family members grew concerned when there was no response from the house for an extended period. When repeated attempts to contact the family failed, they informed the police.
Whitefield police arrived at the scene and forced open the locked door. Inside, they found the body of the daughter lying on the bed, while the mother was found hanging.
