ATK Mohun Bagan is playing its inaugural season in the Indian Super League, while ATK was the defending champion, before being merged with Mohun Bagan this season. The side is currently placed second in the table, as it takes on table topper, Mumbai City FC.

With this draw, SC East Bengal has risen to the ninth spot in the 2020-21 Indian Super League table. As for FC Goa, it stays at the third spot. Goa has never won the title to date, despite plying the tournament since 2014, while SCEB is making its ISL debut this season.
